Privacy on WRILS.
This policy covers wrils.com. Linked employers and job platforms have their own privacy practices.
Who is responsible
For questions about this policy or personal information you have sent to WRILS, contact hello@wrils.com and identify your request as relating to WRILS.
Information involved in a visit
When a browser requests a page, the hosting and delivery services necessarily receive technical information such as an IP address, requested URL, time, browser information and network headers. These services may process logs for delivery, reliability, security and abuse prevention. WRILS does not require a candidate account to read its editorial pages and does not provide an application form for the employers listed here.
The job search sends the selected search parameters to the WRILS jobs endpoint, which requests listing data from Jobicy. Do not put confidential information into a keyword search. A click to an employer or another platform takes you to a service governed by that service’s terms and privacy policy.
Email correspondence
If you email us, we receive the address, message and attachments you choose to send. We use that information to respond, investigate corrections and keep a record of the enquiry where needed. Send only what is relevant. We retain correspondence as necessary for those purposes, resolving disputes and applicable obligations; provider-held technical records are governed by the relevant provider’s practices. You can ask about access, correction or deletion by contacting the address above. We may need to verify that the request concerns your information.
Cookies and Google advertising
WRILS includes Google advertising code. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use cookies or similar identifiers to serve ads based on visits to this website and other websites. Google’s advertising cookies can enable Google and its partners to personalise advertising based on browsing activity. Advertising requests may also involve technical data used for delivery, fraud prevention and measurement. The advertising actually shown depends on provider configuration, location, browser controls and available inventory.
Read Google’s explanation of advertising technologies and how Google uses information from partner sites. Google’s partners may process information under their own policies; WRILS does not receive or control every record held by those vendors.
Your advertising and browser choices
You can manage Google ad personalisation in My Ad Center. Other participating advertising providers offer choices through the Digital Advertising Alliance. Browser settings can block or delete cookies and restrict third-party requests. Opting out of personalisation does not necessarily remove advertisements or stop security-related processing. Choices may depend on the browser, device or account used.
This notice describes the current integration; it does not claim that every visitor has provided consent through a WRILS consent banner. Where a separate provider consent control is presented, use that control to manage the choices it offers.
Other third parties
Pages currently request fonts from Google Fonts, which causes the browser to contact Google’s font-delivery services. Hosting and network delivery services process requests to make the site available. Jobicy provides listing data; employers, application systems and linked job boards handle their own interactions after you leave WRILS. This site’s source does not currently include a separate first-party analytics script. Changes to those integrations will be reflected in this policy.
Security, rights and changes
Avoid sending passwords, bank details or identity documents to the editorial inbox. No website or email system can promise absolute security. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have rights relating to access, correction, deletion, restriction or objection to processing; contact us to explain the request. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate operational or legal reasons. Third-party providers may need to receive requests about records they control directly.
We update this page when the described practices materially change. The effective date appears above. Earlier messages and application information sent directly to a different platform remain subject to that platform’s policy.
