Job Description
We are looking for a (data-driven) Payroll Manager to lead GetResponse payroll functions. A big part of your job will be to plan, execute and supervise all our payroll activities globally. You’ll also manage and mentor our payroll team and liaise with other professionals.
Our ideal candidate is analytical and methodical, with experience in Polish and international payroll administration and in-depth knowledge of payroll regulations. We also value integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills/process improvements.
Your main goal will be to ensure our payroll procedures are compliant, efficient and current.
Key responsibilities:
- supervise, coach and support payroll specialists in their daily activities
- develop and deliver an innovative payroll service within the company
- provide information and consultation on payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades
- maintain accurate records and prepare reports in a timely manner
- coordinate timekeeping and payroll systems
- resolve issues and answer payroll-related questions of employees
- be a point of contact in case of employment related escalations
- ensure compliance with relevant laws and internal policies
- work cross-functionally with other teams in order to drive improvements and simplify processes
- cooperate closely with the Senior Management and serve as an expert in all employment and expansion related issues
- identify risks and ensure appropriate controls are in place
- liaise with auditors and manage payroll tax audits according to set deadlines
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience as a Payroll Manager in an international company
- 2+ years of experience as a team manager
- excellent understanding of Polish and international payroll and taxes
- native Polish and proficiency in English (C1 level in speaking and writing)
- experience in high volume data processing and reporting
- familiarity with any payroll software/HRIS
- proficiency in Excel
